Lotus and orange juice

Spring is all about juices and refreshing smoothies and this time, I tried making a juice with lotus and orange. The experiment was successful once again, and the juice was delicious!

In this article, you won’t ready anything crazy complicated, I just really wanted to share this idea with you.

Have you ever eaten a fresh lotus? It’s delicious. In juices, lotus gives a taste similar to peach.

Ingredients :

(for one person)

  1. 2 oranges
  2. A ripe lotus
  3. A pinch of cinnamon
  4. A pinch of ginger
The beneficial properties of this juice :

It’s perfect for detoxing. All four ingredients of the juice have strong antioxidant properties.
It is anti-inflammatory thank to the pinch of cinnamon and ginger.
It is rich in fiber thank to the orange and lotus.
Ginger makes it soothing for the digestive system.

Instructions :

Squeeze the oranges in a juicer. Peel the lotus and transfer to a blender. Add the orange juice and spices. Mix well and serve in a glass with a metal straw.
